About Us

On October 8, 2008, KOFY TV 20/Cable 13 returned to the station’s original KOFY call letters and philosophy of providing great nostalgic TV programming presented every day by local personalities and has added some exciting new interactive concepts.

The key to KOFY TV 20-Cable 13’s new approach is the focus on the station strengths of the past--being local and fun but with a modern twist. We’ve added new interactive concepts where viewers make programming selections by voting for what they want to watch; we have trivia contests for valuable prizes; and of course, we have the famous “Dogs of KOFY” doing our station ID’s at the top of every hour!

Celeste Perry and Morris Knight host KOFY TV 20/Cable 13’s programming throughout the day. Sunday's is Locals Night where viewers are entertained with local content and even have the chance to pick the program Sundays @ 7:30P on Viewers Choice by voting on www.kofytv.com. From those who vote, viewers are picked at random to come in to co-host the show.

The KOFY Crew is in the streets making contact with viewers in all Bay Area communities looking for opinions, taping viewers and passing out “KOFY Coffee” provided by John Weaver of Weaver’s Coffee.

Being an independent presented the opportunity to provide local news from a well known and trusted brand ABC7 News, weeknights at 7pm, 9pm & 11:30p and weekends at 7pm & 9pm. “ABC7 News provides viewers with the latest local & national news, weather, and sports at a convenient and appealing time. Anchored by Dan Ashley along with Meteorologist Sandhya Patel, and Sports Anchor Larry Beil. The newscast also includes contributions from 7 On Your Side, the ITeam and Dr. Dean Edell.

With a wide variety of news, entertainment, comedy, dramas and TV classics, KOFY TV 20-Cable 13 is well positioned to serve the Bay Area as a unique entertainment and information alternative.
