Meet Michelle Meow

Michelle Meow, host of the "Michelle Meow Show" on both radio and TV, is a leading voice in the San Francisco Bay Area for the LGBTQ community. She attended San Francisco State University and received a B.A in Broadcast Journalism and shortly after, started her career in radio. Over the past few years, her success in radio has afforded Michelle the opportunity to expand her message of inclusion through her television show on KOFY TV 20/ Cable 713.

Michelle has recently been elected to the position of President of the San Francisco Pride Board. She has also been a co-host of the San Francisco Pride Parade since 2006, which is Emmy nominated and Webby Award winning.

Michelle has an inquisitive passion and disarming sense of humor. This combination is illustrated in her entertaining yet knowledgeable approach to her show.

Throughout her radio and television career Michelle has interviewed several notable political figures, community activists and media personalities. Margaret Cho, Sarah Palin, Gavin Newsom, Janice Dickinson, Chaz Bono, Sarah Silverman, Kate Kendell and Wanda Sykes to name a few. Other notable celebrities she has interviewed include Julianne Moore, Ellen Page, Melissa Etheridge, Lily Tomlin and Golden State Warriors President Rick Welts, the first openly gay executive in a sport organization. Her open and approachable personality make a discussion with her like having a conversation with an old friend.
