The Greatest Show On Earth® Celebrates Return to SF –
There will be no doubt the circus is back in town when performers from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® circus roll into Union Square for two hours of free lunchtime entertainment for children and adults alike with a rollicking lunchtime look at its newest circus production, Fully Charged!
Performers will rotate through a rousing set of circus acts and precision stunts, side-show gags, and of course frolics by clowns from the world famous Ringling Bros. Clown Alley. Children will be offered free face-painting artistry and balloon animals, and free circus snacks (popcorn and cotton candy), rubber clown noses and other prizes will be available as supplies last – plus a chance to win a family four-pack of tickets to the show!
The fun-filled event heralds the return, for the first time since 2005, of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus to the Cow Palace Arena, where it is presenting the 141st edition of The Greatest Show on Earth, an all-new show entitled Fully Charged that celebrates amazing performance power from all over the globe. The circus performs throughout the Bay Area at the Cow Palace Arena in Daly City from September 1 - 5, then moves on to Oakland’s Oracle Arena from September 8 – 11.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® invites families to disconnect from the digital world and plug into the most electrifying circus experience ever at its all new show, Fully Charged, where megawatts of thrills explode off the arena floor with breathtaking dare-devilry, superhuman stunts and never-before-seen performances that will energize children of all ages.
Ninety minutes prior to each performance, all ticket holders are invited to tour the Animal Open House to get up close with Ringling’s amazing animals. One hour before show time, families can step onto the arena floor to meet the performers, try on costumes, learn circus skills and get a chance to see a remarkable elephant paint a masterpiece at the All-Access Pre-Show Power Up Party. Both fun-filled activities are free with an admission ticket.
