Event Description

Each year, San Rafael unofficially celebrates the beginning of the holiday season with its annual lighted boat parade in the San Rafael Canal. Boaters throughout Marin County devote many hours and days preparing their vessels for what has become one of the largest lighted boat parades in the Bay Area.

It is the Third Largest Lighted Boat Parade in the country and growing bigger every year! Fun for the whole family so come on out and be a be a part of Marin's maritime holiday tradition and watch the lighted boat parade along the San Rafael Canal.

It's on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012. Parade Begins at 6pm,
don't miss the fun!

The best viewing locations are the Pickleweed Community Center, Beach Park, along the Canal area at the Montecito Plaza.
