As one of the original regulars on KOFY's 50's Dance Party, which ran from 1986 to 1992, I am having a blast at the new Dance Party tapings, now 20+ year later!
Although My friends and I end up exhausted with legs hurting from so much intensive dancing, it still doesn't deter us from coming back! It's so fun to see all the other people's great outfits and dance with perfect strangers and get crazy! And the KICKER is that I sometimes end up dancing with guys that were BORN during the 80's when I was dancing on the ORIGINAL Dance Party shows!!
The only problem is that KOFY kept running out of water at the last tapings, which was on a very warm (74 degrees!)day, and there was no air conditioning in studio other than 3 small fans! KOFY....! GET MORE WATER and SOME AIR CONDITIONING PLEASE!!
Other than that, it's 'THE' Party in the Bay Area and the staff & crew are wonderful!
