I got Eddie from the SPCA, 2 years ago, in May.
He was so skinny, so afraid of every thing and every one. He had been found wandering the streets of Madera (by Fresno?), brought to SF SPCA, then to my house.
He was scared of loud noises and people. Every where I took Eddie, everyone gave him so much love and affection, he's learned to trust everyone.
He's put on some inches, and looks healthy, happy and sassy. He lets me dress him up and loves to go on walks and play with people and other dogs.
He's a completely changed dog now. He runs up to people, for a scratch, pet , or to be picked up. He's a huge flirt with the women, and he's not afraid of men or any other dogs.
Eddie saved my life. He's given me so much unconditional love and since I was also from a very abusive childhood, his trust and growth has somehow helped me to start trusting too.
When I got him, yet another failed, disfunctional and abusive relationship had ended and Eddie was my constant companion. He has helped me get outside more, and open to people, and saved me on those dark, suicidal depressed nights.
He is actually a real Service Dog, he has the tags and everything. Eddie has saved my life, just as I suppose I saved his.
Thank You Eddie.
