A scary scenario in California this week.

According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, police said an 8-year-old California boy accidentally shot a man in the head after finding a loaded gun.

The boy fired a shot into the floor of the room he was in and the bullet passed through the floor and hit a man in the top of the head in the room below, according to the Los Angeles Times report. The man is expected to survive, according to the Times report.
