Convicted Child Molester Dies After Being Found At Bottom Of Prison Staircase

A convicted child molester was discovered unconscious at the bottom of a staircase at an Indiana correctional facility, according to a report from Granite Broadcasting sister station Indiana's NewsCenter in Fort Wayne, Ind.

According to the report from Indiana's NewsCenter:

Jeremiah K. Taylor, 37, died Friday at a hospital in Indianapolis. Authorities say that Taylor did not die from the fall but he had been beaten shortly before his body was discovered.

Taylor was serving an 8-year prison sentence for molesting a preschool-aged child.
