Teen Girl Allegedly Hits Classmate With Car Over Social Media Argument


A bizarre story from New York last Friday, as reported by Granite Broadcasting sister station WKBW in Buffalo, N.Y.

According to the WKBW report, police in Tonawanda, N.Y. are investigating an assault that took place Friday night.

Police say an argument between two teenage girls over social media led to a "personal encounter" on a street, and that a 17-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old girl.

The victim is hospitalized in fair condition. The 18-year-old girl has been charged with assault.
