NSA Director Says Surveillance Has Foiled 50 Terror Plots


While there has been plenty of conversation in recent days regarding Edward Snowden's reveal of the NSA's surveillance program, NSA director Keith Alexander on Tuesday said that the program has disrupted more than 50 terror threats across the world, including more than 10 that had targeted the U.S. homeland.

Alexander revealed the news while speaking to the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday.
